Patients and methods:

From Dec 2014 to Dec  2018 -  161 patients (172 eyes):

- Choroidal hemangiomas - 62 (67 eyes)

- Retinal capillary hemangiomas - 11 (17 eyes)

Cavernous hemangiomas - 69 (69 eyes)

Capillary hemangiomas - 19 (19 eyes)

Complex ultrasound examinations: B-scan (high frequency gray-scale sonography), CDI and PD Echo densitometry (ED).

Conclusions:

- Diagnostics of  intraocular and orbital hemangiomas is based on clinical features and results of different methods of ocular examination including current ultrasound techniques (B-scan, echodensitometry, CDI, PD and spectral Doppler analysis)

- Ultrasound Doppler has an important role in    understanding certain conditions as well as in the evaluation of the hemodynamic consequences of local or diffuse processes

- Complex ultrasound methods can be useful tool in diagnostics and treatment effectiveness assessment of intraocular and orbital hemangiomas.
